Description

Antimetal is hiring a Research Engineer to prototype and productionize intelligent systems for infrastructure intelligence, autonomous agents, and evaluation. The role involves running experiments, building evaluation infrastructure, exploring AI, machine learning, and SRE research, and collaborating with platform and product teams. Candidates need at least four years of applied machine learning or research engineering experience, production experience with agentic or LLM systems, strong Python and TypeScript skills, and experience with end-to-end evaluation pipelines. Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of applied machine learning or research engineering experience
Production experience with agentic or LLM systems, including reasoning, reinforcement learning, fine-tuning, and orchestration
Experience bringing prototypes to production using data and experimentation
Experience building and running end-to-end evaluation pipelines with real-world data
Experience with Python, TypeScript, machine learning libraries, and data engineering tools
Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to interpretability, robustness, or AI safety research
Experience with multimodal models
