Description

Solcoa is hiring a rare-earth metallurgy research engineer to develop and scale rare-earth metal production through high-temperature pyrometallurgy, electrochemistry, nuclear-engineering research, and metal-processing experiments. The role involves bench- and pilot-scale experimentation, custom furnace and vacuum-system operation, thermochemical modeling, analytical characterization, documentation, and collaboration with fabrication and safety teams. Candidates should have research-engineering or PhD-level research experience, strong thermodynamic and materials knowledge, experimental-setup skills, and data fluency; rare-earth chemistry, high-temperature materials, CAD, and HAZOP/MOC experience are preferred. The position offers a competitive base salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, daily lunch, and visa sponsorship.
