Description
The Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition at the University of Washington is seeking a temporary Research Engineer 2 to design, build, and optimize in vitro fluidics instrumentation. This role involves creating and testing gas control systems, automating fluidics operations using software, and analyzing data to maintain and assess real-time tissue function in response to dissolved signaling gases like O2, H2S, NO, and CO. The engineer will contribute to studies on diabetic complications and collaborate across multiple university departments.
