The role focuses on large-scale data pipelines, model training for data-processing tasks, data curation strategies, and tooling for researchers to explore and train on massive datasets. No formal certifications or degrees are required, but candidates should demonstrate hard problem-solving through projects, designs, or GitHub contributions; experience with data-intensive systems, distributed data processing, and data-quality evaluation is preferred.
