Turing is hiring a Research Engineer to work remotely from Brazil or Colombia on frontier AI research for a client. The role owns data and RL environment quality, translates research goals into technical proposals, designs datasets and environments, builds verification and synthetic-data systems, runs evaluations and model-improvement experiments, and provides technical direction to production teams. Candidates need 4–5 years of experience improving deep learning systems, strong Python skills, and the ability to diagnose subtle data-quality issues; RL, multimodal, STEM, embodied AI, and systems-design experience are strong pluses.
