Point72 is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer - Applied Scientist to develop production-ready machine learning and natural language processing solutions for front-office investment professionals. The role covers NLP, predictive modeling, clustering, time-series analysis, GenAI, model evaluation, data preparation, and integration with production systems, while also conducting research and applying advanced techniques for sparse data and large-scale deep learning. Candidates need a PhD, master's degree, or 4+ years of relevant experience, along with 6+ years of ML model-building experience and expertise in Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face, spaCy, LLMs, transformers, and related technologies. The annual base salary range is $175,000-$250,000 USD.
