Deepgram is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Research team to prototype and validate novel speech-technology models, then scale them through robust training systems, internal tooling, and data strategies. The role focuses on scalable STT and TTS model training, distributed infrastructure, automated evaluation, internal dashboards, experiment tracking, and data engineering for unstructured audio and text. Candidates should have strong experience with the machine learning research pipeline, speech-domain modeling, orchestration and infrastructure tools, ML lifecycle tools, internal tooling, and cross-functional collaboration.
