Description
Deepgram is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Research team to prototype and validate novel speech-AI modeling ideas and scale them through robust training systems. The role focuses on building horizontally scalable STT and TTS training infrastructure, optimizing data preparation and evaluation, designing internal ML tooling and dashboards, and managing orchestration, experiment tracking, and data storage. Candidates should have strong experience with the machine learning research pipeline in speech domains, proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Prefect, familiarity with MLflow, experience building internal tools, and hands-on experience with unstructured audio and text data engineering.
