Research Engineer - Reinforcement Learning at PrimeIntellect

Prime Intellect is hiring an AI/ML Infrastructure Research Scientist to lead research on large-scale synthetic data generation and orchestration, optimize distributed AI inference workloads, contribute to open-source libraries and distributed reinforcement-learning frameworks, publish research, and communicate technical outcomes. The role requires extensive experience with large-scale model inference or training pipelines, distributed inference frameworks such as vLLM or SGLang, and MLOps practices. Compensation is $150,000–$350,000 plus equity, with flexible remote or in-person work in San Francisco and visa sponsorship for international candidates.
