The Communications and Signal Processing Division of the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University is seeking engineering undergraduate interns to work part-time with senior technical staff on advanced wireless RF communications systems. Responsibilities include algorithm development, software design, C/C++ hardware interfacing, software-defined radio integration, and communication security protocol evaluation. The internship is based at the University Park campus, may last up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during non-academic times, and does not provide relocation. Interns pursuing degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics are preferred, and candidates should have interest in software development, signal processing, and digital logic and hardware development.
