Abundant is hiring a Research Intern to architect and execute foundational research on model reasoning and intelligence at scale. The role involves advancing model alignment, safety, reward signals, datasets, and benchmarks; autonomously managing long-running research projects; and collaborating with engineering teams on data pipelines, tooling, and high-performance deep learning implementations. Candidates should have research expertise in computer science, machine learning, or natural language processing, a record of shipping research to production, experience with large-scale agent systems, and experience advising on or shaping AI safety and governance policy. The position offers a base salary of $14,500 per month plus health, dental, vision, and flexible PTO benefits.
