Description

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking four Research Fellows to join a program focused on market design for future low-carbon power systems. This role involves conducting cutting-edge research, developing advanced models, designing market mechanisms, and utilizing AI-enabled computational methods to enhance energy systems. The fellows will collaborate with various stakeholders, contribute to publications, present findings, mentor students, and develop research software tools.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: PhD qualification degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, and Information Engineering.
Required Previous Experiences: Strong research background in at least one of the following areas: electricity market design, power system operation and planning, energy storage, smart grids, distributed energy resources, flexibility coordination, optimisation, or reinforcement learning.
Experience in analytical modelling, optimisation, simulation, machine learning, reinforcement learning, or data-driven methods for power systems and markets.
