Mayo Clinic is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join its Cellular Microsystems and Biosensors Laboratory and contribute to interdisciplinary research on microdevices for cell analysis, cultivation, and transplantation. The role involves developing next-generation diagnostic and cell therapy technologies, using cell and molecular biology and biomedical engineering methods, and working in a cleanroom for microdevice fabrication and testing. Candidates should hold a PhD with research experience in bioelectronics, microfabrication, cells in microfluidics, or device transplantation; experience assessing host responses to implanted devices or tissue-engineered constructs is a plus. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $67,282.95 to $78,711.15 per year and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and savings benefits.
