Mayo Clinic is hiring a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow in the Gut Microbiome Laboratory within the Enteric Neurosciences Program in Rochester, Minnesota. The fellow will join a translational research team studying pathophysiological mechanisms of gastrointestinal motility disorders, including gut-microbe-host interactions, using physiology, advanced imaging, molecular and cellular biology, and in vivo animal models. Candidates should hold a PhD or MD/PhD in physiology, neuroscience, molecular biology, or a related discipline and be within five years of PhD completion; experience with advanced imaging, single-cell or spatial transcriptomics, and mouse physiological studies is desirable. The position is exempt, pays $67,282.95 to $78,711.15 per year, and follows a Monday-Friday schedule with 8-hour days and weekends as needed.
