Description
Karya is hiring a Research Intern to apply social science research methods to the evaluation of AI and machine learning systems, especially language technologies serving Indian communities. The intern will work with the Evaluations team on qualitative and quantitative evaluation, AI testing methodologies, community impact, and live evaluation pipelines, while developing conceptual understanding of model evaluation, human-in-the-loop systems, and low-resource language technologies. The role is suited to social science students or researchers and offers flexible work options and industry-standard insurance.
