Microsoft Research Asia is hiring a Research Intern in Singapore to conduct research in foundation models, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and industrial AI applications. The intern will analyze algorithms on large-scale datasets, implement scalable AI prototypes, collaborate on systems from prototyping through production, develop solutions for real-world problems, and support technology transfer, standards, patents, white papers, and internal tools. Candidates must be pursuing a relevant bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree and have at least one additional quarter or semester remaining after the internship; programming, deep-learning frameworks, large-model training or inference, and academic research experience are preferred.
