Washington State University is hiring a full-time temporary Research Intern for the Krueger Lab in the College of Veterinary Medicine's Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience department in Spokane, Washington. The intern will conduct neurobiology research involving sleep, circadian rhythms, feeding, thermoregulation, and central nervous system functions, including surgical and behavioral experimental manipulation, computerized physiological and behavioral data collection and analysis, and basic tissue sampling. The role requires a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, computer and statistical software proficiency, basic laboratory methods, and small laboratory animal handling experience; preferred qualifications include statistics knowledge, animal surgery, and polysomnographic coding software experience.
