Together AI is hiring a Research Intern to investigate frontier agentic AI systems, including alignment, reliability, scalability, self-learning, long-horizon reasoning, dataset curation, failure-mode analysis, and infrastructure for agent operations. The intern will research and implement techniques, conduct experiments, document findings, and communicate results. The role requires a current Ph.D. candidate in a relevant field, publications at leading machine learning, natural language processing, or speech conferences, strong machine learning and deep learning knowledge, experience with PyTorch or JAX, Python programming skills, and familiarity with transformers and foundation models. The internship runs 12 to 14 weeks, with cohorts from May 17 to August 6 or June 14 to September 3, and offers an estimated US hourly rate of $58 to $70 plus housing stipends and other benefits.
