Description
Rigetti is seeking a research intern to support superconducting qubit fabrication at Mevell NanoLab cleanroom at UC Berkeley. The intern will work with scientists and engineers on designing and fabricating superconducting qubits and Josephson tunnel junctions, including CAD layout, lithography, plasma etching, characterization, data analysis, and process optimization. The role requires cleanroom experience, lithography and dry-etching experience, CAD layout skills, and strong experimental abilities; Marvell NanoLab membership, AlOx Josephson junction experience, and training in engineering, materials science, or physics are preferred. The internship includes a housing stipend of up to $2,000 for candidates relocating for the summer.
