Optiver is hiring an engineering professional to expand the Research Platform by building and improving service orchestration, job scheduling, cluster management, big-data processing, and other core services. The role involves developing a managed compute and data platform in Python and Rust, exploring technologies for research workflows, and collaborating with traders, researchers, and engineers. It requires experience leading large-scale engineering projects, distributed systems, and Python, with C, C++, Rust, and GPU/CUDA experience preferred.
