Description
Apple is seeking an ML Security Research Scientist to lead applied security research on production agentic and tool-using machine learning systems. The role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, designing realistic adversarial evaluations, developing production-compatible defenses, defining threat models, and translating research into architectural decisions, launch requirements, and long-term hardening strategies. The scientist will partner with ML platform, product engineering, and product security teams and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and standards for applied ML security research.
