Description
Phonic is hiring a Research Scientist to drive original research across voice AI, including synthesis, modeling, alignment, perception, and related areas. The role owns research directions end-to-end, designs experiments, develops novel methods, translates successful approaches into shipped model and product improvements, and collaborates with research engineers to move prototypes to production. The position is fully in-person in the San Francisco office and requires a track record of original research, deep expertise in at least one voice-AI or related field, strong mathematical and first-principles reasoning, and clear communication.
