Description
Lockheed Martin is hiring a full-time Research Engineer to lead advanced research, development, and integration of Supportable Low‑Observable (SLO) technologies for the F‑22 program. The role covers SLO research topics, cross-functional integration, signature-prediction modeling, materials and process qualification, ground- and flight-testing, sustainment procedures, and coordination with government customers, program offices, and suppliers. A bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, physics, or another technical field is required, while experience with radar measurement, aircraft low-observable maintenance, repair verification radar, F-22 airframe design, and signature technology is desired. The position requires travel to offsite locations up to 50% of the time and offers a full-time salary range of $98,100 to $182,100 plus medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
