Prior Labs is hiring a research scientist to join its small frontier AI team and work hands-on on new classes of AI models, including scaling transformers, multimodal text-and-tabular models, time-series and forecasting architectures, efficient production inference, causal understanding, and multi-table handling. The role seeks a candidate pursuing or holding a PhD in a relevant field, with strong PyTorch and scikit-learn experience, Python engineering fundamentals, tabular or time-series data experience, and publications or significant open-source contributions. The position is based in Berlin, Freiburg, or New York, with exceptional cases open to remote work requiring frequent travel.
