Brookhaven National Laboratory is hiring an FPGA-based Data Acquisition Systems Researcher/R&D Engineer for its Detectors R&D team. The role involves researching, designing, and developing high-bandwidth, low-latency data acquisition systems; collaborating with detector, sensor, ASIC, control-systems, and scientific teams; and leading laboratory and experiment-site testing and measurements. Candidates should have a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, and at least three years of relevant experience, along with FPGA, HDL, C/C++, Python, Linux, EPICS, and hardware-testing expertise. The position offers a salary of $81,950 to $120,000 per year and requires a UPIV credential and REAL-ID-compliant identification for site access.
