UNCW’s Center for Marine Science is hiring a permanent, full-time Research Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Forensic Light Isotope and Trace Environmental Spectrometry (FLITES) core facility. The role trains and supervises faculty and students, maintains mass spectrometry and chromatography instrumentation and supplies, provides data analysis and management support, implements basic QA/QC protocols, and oversees laboratory safety. The position is based in Myrtle Grove, North Carolina, requires a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus one year of directly related experience, and offers a recruitment range of $55,055 to $64,000.
