Description
The Horticulturist maintains greenhouse plantings, plant collections, inventory, propagation, integrated pest management, labeling, and plant care; supports plant-sale events and public education; and assists with grounds and collections maintenance. The role requires a baccalaureate degree in horticulture, botany, natural resource management, or a related field, plus progressively responsible professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with physical ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds.
