Johns Hopkins University’s Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center is hiring a Research Technologist to support collaborative cancer genetics, epigenetics, and precision-medicine research. The role performs clinical and research laboratory experiments, runs assays and measurements, collects data, maintains equipment and inventories, trains users on standard procedures, and collaborates with staff, students, post-doctoral fellows, faculty, and other laboratories. A bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is required; experience with biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology techniques is preferred. Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed for experiments and laboratory maintenance.
