Description
The Research Technologist I will support plant pathogenic bacteria evolution research in the Hulin Lab through laboratory work, maintenance, administration, and data entry. Duties include cloning bacterial mutants, pathogenicity and phenotyping tests, DNA/RNA extractions, media and buffer preparation, plant maintenance, competent E. coli stock generation, data collection, field work, laboratory organization, SOP updates, and culture-collection databases. The role is full-time, union, and limited to one year from hire with possible extension, with applications closing October 6, 2026.
