Description
The Laboratory Research Assistant performs routine and established laboratory procedures, including assays, cell and tissue culture, animal studies, data collection and analysis, equipment maintenance, manuscript preparation, and research meetings. The role works under the supervision of a Principal Investigator and may perform some assignments independently. It requires a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or another relevant science, or an associate degree with six years of relevant laboratory experience, along with laboratory techniques, safety, data analysis, organization, and writing skills. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with weekends as needed, and pays $27.99 to $41.98 per hour.
