Microsoft is hiring a Researcher to conduct research, lead research collaborations, and develop insights, theories, algorithms, data, and prototypes that advance computer science, engineering, and general scientific knowledge. The role bridges research and product teams, applies research-backed solutions to product needs, develops datasets and ETL pipelines, supports machine learning model deployment, and documents research outcomes. Candidates need a relevant master's degree with at least one year of related research experience, or a relevant bachelor's degree with at least two years of related research experience, or equivalent experience; a doctorate or relevant academic publishing and conference experience is preferred.
