Description
The Senior Residence Program Specialist provides direct care, advocacy, and individualized support to residents in Human First’s residential programs, promoting independence and personal growth. The role supports daily living, personal care, meal planning, community participation, documentation, crisis response, medication administration, transportation, and the training and scheduling of other Residence Program Specialists. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, AMAP certification or the ability to obtain it, a valid New York State driver’s license, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation is $21.26 per hour plus industry-leading benefits.
