Description
HDR is hiring a part-time, temporary Resident Engineer to administer and oversee construction project contracts, interpret and enforce complex contract requirements, coordinate with Caltrans inspectors and construction personnel, and manage testing, inspection, and construction engineering programs. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a recognized professional engineering license; at least 10 years of related construction experience, preferably on Caltrans highway construction or improvement projects; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, estimating and scheduling software, and web-based document collaboration tools; and flexibility to work varied shifts and challenging field conditions.
