Description
HDR is hiring a part-time, temporary Resident Engineer to administer and oversee Caltrans highway construction and improvement projects. The role manages construction contracts, interprets and enforces specifications, coordinates inspectors and testing priorities, and oversees construction engineering and inspection activities. It requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a professional engineering license; 10 years of relevant construction experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, estimating and scheduling software, and web-based document collaboration tools; and flexibility to work variable shifts and challenging field conditions.
