Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Resident Engineer to support HPE Mist Wireless, Wired Assurance, EX switches, and SRX firewalls. The role provides customer-focused network design, troubleshooting, hardware and software testing, documentation, automation, and break/fix support; reviews engineering designs; leads cross-functional projects; and mentors junior staff. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least six years of data center routing, switching, and network architecture experience, hands-on Juniper product experience, and Python test-automation skills. The position is based at an HPE partner or customer office, requires up to 10% travel, and offers a United States base salary of USD 119,500–275,000 in Texas.
