Description
BKF Engineers is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer / Construction Manager to serve as the Owner’s on-site representative for water and wastewater infrastructure construction projects in the San Bernardino County region. The role oversees field construction, inspections, contract administration, QA/QC, testing, documentation, schedules, budgets, contractor performance, regulatory and safety compliance, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and project closeout, while also supporting proposals and mentoring. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field; at least six years of relevant experience; knowledge of water regulations including NPDES; strong contractor, contract, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; and a valid California driver’s license. California PE or CCM certification is preferred.
