BKF Engineers is hiring an experienced Resident Engineer / Construction Manager to serve as the Owner’s on-site representative for water and wastewater infrastructure construction projects in San Bernardino County, California. The role oversees field construction, inspections, contract administration, QA/QC, materials testing, surveying, utility and agency coordination, schedules, budgets, contractor performance, regulatory and safety compliance, reporting, and project closeout, while also supporting proposals and mentoring. Candidates should have a related bachelor’s degree, at least 6 years of water or wastewater construction management or resident engineering experience, knowledge of water regulations including NPDES, strong contractor and stakeholder management skills, and a valid California driver’s license; California P.E. or CCM credentials are preferred.
