BKF Engineers is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer / Construction Manager to serve as the owner’s on-site representative for water and wastewater infrastructure construction projects in the San Bernardino County region. The role oversees field construction, inspections, contract administration, QA/QC, testing, documentation, stakeholder coordination, regulatory and safety compliance, project controls, and closeout, while also supporting proposals and mentoring. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least six years of water or wastewater construction management or resident engineering experience, strong contract and contractor-management capabilities, and preferably a California Professional Engineer license or Certified Construction Manager credential. The position is hybrid, requires travel to client sites, and offers an annual salary of $185,000 to $250,342 plus benefits.
