BKF Engineers is hiring an experienced Resident Engineer / Construction Manager to serve as the Owner’s on-site representative for water and wastewater infrastructure construction projects in the San Bernardino County region. The role oversees field construction, contract administration, QA/QC, inspections, testing, documentation, schedules, budgets, safety, regulatory compliance, contractor performance, stakeholder coordination, and project closeout, while also supporting proposals, mentoring, and regional water resources leadership. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least six years of water or wastewater construction management or resident engineering experience, strong contract and field leadership skills, and preferably a California professional engineer license or Certified Construction Manager credential.
