Description
The Oakland Housing Authority Resident Intern supports community program development and general office functions in the Family and Community Partnerships Department. The part-time role offers up to 28 hours per week for up to nine months, with a continuous recruitment period and hourly pay of $17.34 to $20.00. Interns assist with civic engagement, leadership, site services, resident opportunity programs, outreach, events, front-desk support, data entry, community referrals, and participant services. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be a legal resident and participant of an Oakland Housing Authority housing program, and pass drug testing; some work experience or training is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus. The position is non-benefited.
