Description
HDR is hiring a Resident Project Representative I to support construction projects in its Transportation Business Group. The role involves reviewing construction drawings and specifications, maintaining daily contractor records, tracking materials and quantities, preparing pay estimates, attending progress meetings, observing installation and acceptance testing, identifying nonconforming work, preparing punchlists, documenting work for engineer review, and assisting with audits and closeout. The position supervises junior representatives and construction inspectors, works under a more senior representative or Design Project Manager, and requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction technology, construction experience, contract and code knowledge, construction-document interpretation, computer literacy, and communication skills. EIT or PE certification, consulting-firm construction experience, schedule interpretation, and problem-solving are preferred; visa sponsorship is not available.
