Description
Databricks is hiring a Resident Solutions Architect for its Professional Services team to work with clients on short- to medium-term big data engagements. The role delivers data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects, including reference architectures, production-grade MVPs, greenfield implementations, third-party migrations, architecture consulting, and escalated operational support. The architect will collaborate with technical, project management, customer, engineering, and support teams and travel to customers 20–30% of the time. The position requires at least eight years of customer-facing big data experience, Python or Scala coding ability, project delivery management, documentation, and client conflict-management skills; Databricks certification is a plus.
