Description
The Job Corps Counselor provides guidance and support to students at the Joliet Job Corps Center, helping maintain positive group living, safety, and program achievement. Responsibilities include dorm supervision, student counseling referrals, retention planning, recreational and career activities, recordkeeping, inspections, and enforcement of center policies. The role is full-time, pays $22.09 per hour, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and computer skills, and a valid driver’s license; one year of youth-work experience is preferred.
