Description
The Job Corps Dorm Counselor provides guidance and supervision to students in a dormitory setting, supports positive group living and program achievement, monitors safety and behavior, conducts dorm activities and inspections, assists with recreational and career activities, maintains student records, and enforces center policies. The role is paid $22.09 per hour on an as-needed basis at the Joliet Job Corps Center in Joliet, Illinois, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of youth-work experience preferred, strong communication and computer skills, and a valid driver’s license.
