Description
The Affordable Housing Compliance Manager ensures multifamily affordable housing properties comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including LIHTC and HUD Section 8 programs. Responsibilities include reviewing household certifications, scheduling resident recertification interviews and apartment inspections, coordinating resident data collection, maintaining waiting lists and resident files, calculating income and rent limits, training staff, monitoring overdue recertifications, preparing annual building status reports, and assisting with administrative, leasing, and resident-management tasks. The role requires at least three years of affordable-housing compliance experience and three years of residential property-management experience as a Community Manager, along with knowledge of IRS 8823 and HUD Manual 4350.3, computer and Microsoft skills, and the ability to work on-call and travel as needed. The position pays $22–$25 and may include bonuses and health and welfare benefits.
