HELP USA is hiring a Residential Aide to support single-adult shelter clients at its program on 23 W. 106th Street, New York, New York. The role includes client intake and orientation, facility security and patrols, inventorying and securing client possessions, bed and meal counts, client check-in and check-out, meeting and appointment support, incident documentation, and coordination with the Social Services Team. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, FDNY F-02 Fireguard and NYC Food Handler certifications, residential facility experience, experience working with people experiencing homelessness, strong customer service and computer skills, and availability for night and weekend coverage.
