LifeWay Network is seeking a Residential Aide (RA) for its Safe Housing program in Queens, NY. This temporary overnight position involves providing day-to-day support to female-identifying survivors of human trafficking, collaborating with staff, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities include crisis response, light housekeeping, record-keeping, and offering companionship to residents while embodying empathy and respect.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Required Previous Experiences: Experience in housekeeping responsibilities is required.
Prior experience working with vulnerable individuals, specifically survivors.
Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Prior experience in shelter/residence management preferred.
An understanding of trauma-informed care and utilizing a survivor-centered approach is preferred.
Experience working in a multi-cultural setting preferred.
A valid NYS driver's license is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
