Description
The Residential Assistant provides 24-hour rotating-shift staffing in a supportive housing program for men living with HIV/AIDS. Responsibilities include monitoring resident safety, responding to emergencies, supporting medication adherence and health programming, conducting resident screenings and orientation, assisting with daily living activities, maintaining facility logs and incident reports, and enforcing facility rules while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, access to a registered vehicle, and the ability to perform physical tasks; experience in residential or supportive housing and knowledge of HIV/AIDS-related issues and trauma-informed care are preferred.
