SMU is hiring a Residential Community Director for an on-campus, live-in, four-year position leading and sustaining academically-focused residential communities. The role supervises student leaders, supports retention and student well-being, mediates conflicts, coordinates building operations, manages budgets, and serves on an on-call rotation. A bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s is preferred, and prior Student Affairs or Residence Life experience is required; the position offers health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and professional development benefits.
