Volunteers of America–Greater New York is hiring a part-time, 20-hour overnight Residential Counselor in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. The role provides direct residential support to consumers, including supervision, activities, transportation, assistance with activities of daily living and self-administered medication, crisis intervention, residential counseling, case management support, treatment-plan and habilitation-plan participation, service coordination, and documentation. Candidates need qualifying education or equivalent related work/life experience and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least 24 months.
